Sit back and relax this morning as the motorcoach travels through the beautiful Midwest states before stopping for a good night of rest in Youngstown, OH

You'll reach our nation's capital mid-afternoon.

WASHINGTON DC MEMORIALS: Tour the city's most notable memorials honoring those who helped shape this great nation.

Day 3

WASHINGTON DC CITY TOUR: This morning, a local step-on-guide informs and entertains while showing you the highlights of this historical city.

SMITHSONIAN: Spend the afternoon exploring the world's largest museum complex on your own. Catch a glimpse of the flag that inspired the national anthem, gowns of our first ladies, or the Wright brothers 1903 Flyer. The choices are endless!

ILLUMINATION TOUR: Bring your camera for dramatic views of the memorials underneath the stars.


Day 4

ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETARY: Pay respects to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. Be amazed at the precision of the soldiers during the Changing of the Guard and take a moment at the eternal flame honoring President Kennedy.

FORD'S THEATRE: Take an audio tour through the museum dedicated to Abraham Lincoln's life. See the theatre where he was assassinated, and then step inside the house where he died.

You have seen the performances from the Kennedy Center on TV, now see "Shear Madness," an interactive murder-mystery, performed on one of those very stages.

Day 5

UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY: Guided tour of the academy in Annapolis. Learn what life is like for Midshipmen.

Say goodbye to the East Coast and voyage to Youngstown for the night.

Day 6

UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME: Take a historical walking tour of the Notre Dame campus highlighting everything from the Basilica of the Sacred Heart to Touchdown Jesus.

As you travel home, share your favorite memory of our nation's capital.

ACTIVITY LEVEL 3 / HEAVY WALKING: Physical stamina required. Stair climbing, longer periods of walking and/or standing may be involved, along with higher elevations and longer days. Participants must be able to keep up with group.
