Get in the holiday spirit and discover Christmas traditions from around the world without ever leaving the good, old USA!


Day 1

Join our other world travelers as we head westward to Omaha! Omaha? Yes! Omaha!

POLAND: First stop, an Authentic Polish Feast prepared by the Polish Heritage Society of Nebraska. Enjoy a speical accordion presentation and learn how to polka!


Day 2

LITHUANIA: Hear from the Machevicius family about how they escaped Germany in WWII and moved to Omaha to start a bakery business. Taste some of the bakery's famous breads and enjoy their signature dessert that takes three days to make.

OMAHA CITY TOUR: Your local co-pilot gives the group a candid look at the city's past, present, and future while giving an overview of this great city.

OLD MARKET LUNCH & SHOPPING: The historic Old Market Entertainment District features cobblestone streets lined with unique boutiques, art galleries, sweet shops etc...Horse drawn carriage rides and street musicians add to the Old Market's appeal.

CHRISTMAS IN THE SOUTH: Tis the season for family, so pull up a chair for a good old fashioned southern meal. Big Mama's soul food has become a television culinary staple, featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-insand Dives!

"A CHRISTMAS CAROL" MUSICAL: Take in a professional production of Dickens classic tale with musical score, special effoect and elaborate costumes.

Day 3

IRELAND: Enjoy a tour of the Hall of History and Father Flanagan's historic home, decorated in the traditional style of an Irish Christmas in the year 1929!

SCOTLAND: Be transported to Scotland with a visit to the historic 1903 Joslyn Castle. Hear the fascinating story of George & Sarah Joslyn and how the couple shared their extraordinary wealth with the community.

UKRAINE: Olesia Reprichowskyj brings various linens and gives an entertaining presentation about the linens and the connection to Ukrainian history, customs, and traditions. She will also talk about her experiences as a child slave laborer for the Germany Army in WWII.

GREECE: Visit St John's Greek Orthodox Church for dinner and tour the Byzantine Style church. After a docent lead tour, some members of the congregation will join group for dinner and a holiday program.

Keep that Christmas spirit with you as the coach travels home just in time for your own traditions to begin!

ACCOMMODATIONS: Magnolia Hotel, Omaha, NE (3 nights).


TOUR INCLUSIONS: Professional tour director, motorcoach transportation, accommodations, luggage handling at hotels, admissions/attractions, and 7 meals, including 3 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 3 dinners.


TRAVEL INSURANCE: Optional, but strongly recommended.


ACTIVITY LEVEL 2 / MODERATE WALKING: Average walking/activity throughout tour. Ability to climb stairs and walk on uneven surfaces is required.
