If the sound of thundering hooves, the sweet smell of freshly cut hay, and the sight of a majestic horse in full gallop get your heart racing, this is a tour you won't want to miss!

Day 1

Head toward spring in Louisville for your first night's stay. Your acclimation to the city begins with dinner in a unique restaurant setting..

Day 2

LOUISVILLE SLUGGER MUSEUM & FACTORY: Get ready to smell the wood, hear the sound of wood chips soaring, and learn about the history of an American icon as you walk through the heart of the factory production line and get a behind-the-scenes scoop on the bat-making process.

CHURCHILL DOWNS & KENTUCKY DERBY MUSEUM: Enjoy a guided tour of the most famous of all racetracks and learn about the event held every year since 1875. In the museum, see the colorful jockey silks, learn how a foal becomes a champion, and let's not forget those marvelous hats!

FOOTLOOSE AT DERBY DINNER PLAYHOUSE: This iconic dinner theatre presents the explosive movie musical with dynamic new songs and your favorite powerhouse hits! Celebrate the exhilaration of youth, the wisdom of listening to one another, and the power of forgiveness.

Day 3

KENTUCKY HORSE PARK: Horse lovers, this might be your favorite stop. A showcase of museums, galleries, theaters, and working farm exhibits, the Park is dedicated to man's relationship with the horse. Watch a harness maker and farrier at work. Visit the grave of the legendary "Man of War." Delight in more than 50 different breeds grazing on lush pastures.

OLD FRIENDS EQUINE RETIREMENT FARM: What happens to horses when they are done racing? Sadly, their stories haven't always had happy endings. But since 1986, this facility has been making a difference for pensioned Thoroughbreds.

WOODFORD RESERVE BOURBON TOUR: Explore all five sources of flavor from grain to glass on this guided walking tour of the distillery and historic location. Finishing with a tasting of their award winning craft bourbons and whiskies you'll truly experience the Woodford Reserve difference.

Day 4

KEENELAND RACETRACK: Get an up-close look at this National Historic Landmark! On this outside walking tour, your experienced tour guide will take you through the Keeneland paddock and grandstand, grounds, and the world-renowned Keeneland Sales Pavilion. Also see horses training on the track!

MARY TODD LINCOLN HOUSE: Discover one of America’s most fascinating first ladies through a self-guided tour! The Mary Todd Lincoln House was the family home of the wife of 16th president Abraham Lincoln.

Day 5

MUHAMMED ALI CENTER: Ali, the world's favorite boxing legend and proud Louisville native, inspires all who visit here. See how this Olympic and World Heavyweight Champion used his platform to teach others to "Be great and do great things."

Then it's time to settle the motorcoach to gallop toward home.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Optional, but highly recommended.

ACTIVITY LEVEL 3 / HEAVY WALKING: Physical stamina required. Stair climbing, longer periods of walking and/or standing may be involved, along with higher elevations and longer days. Participants must be able to keep up with group.
