Day 2

Albuquerque's International Balloon Fiesta
Today is sure to be one of the highlights of your trip...Albuquerque's International Balloon Fiesta. Join in the excitement of this annual hot air ballooning extravaganza. This is your chance to experience one of the world's most photographed events. Watch as the balloons launch in one of the most spectacular displays of sound and color in all of aviation. After your early morning, enjoy some time to relax.

This afternoon, visit Old Town Albuquerque. Savor the unique fusion of Mexican, Native American, and Spanish heritages. Experience a "must-do" as you embark on a bucket-list ride along eclectic Route 66. Then enjoy some time in Old Town to explore the wonderful shops and restaurants.

Tonight, return to the fiesta grounds to experience the grandeur of the Balloon Fiesta by moonlight. The breathtaking event of balloons lit from within at night is known as "Balloon Glow." There will be plenty of time to stroll the grounds, shop for a memorable Balloon Fiesta souvenir, or grab a bite to eat.

Day 3

National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center
Since before the Cold War, New Mexico has been known as a hub for covert military projects. Today, this fascinating history unfolds at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History where a docent takes you on an intriguing journey that includes details of the Manhattan Project.

Later this afternoon, visit the gateway to the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. See the ever-changing galleries that highlight local and national Native American artists. With a focus on Pueblo artists, the center strives to preserve their culture.

Day 4

Turquoise Trail, Santa Fe Plaza
Today we set out for Santa Fe. Traveling via the historic Turquoise Trail, you are sure to enjoy the stunning views. Prehistoric peoples made their homes here, Spanish missionaries explored the area, and many battles were fought over this land.

Once in Santa Fe, a local guide joins us on an open-air tram as we tour the renowned Santa Fe Plaza and the surrounding city, including the Miraculous Staircase at the Loretto Chapel. Enjoy time to discover the many shops and numerous art museums that Santa Fe is known for. Tonight, enjoy a reception at the hotel.

Day 5

Today is yours to explore Santa Fe independently. With so much to see and do in this Southwestern city, perhaps you will visit a museum or one of the many art galleries on Canyon Road.
