The air is just different in the Northwestern US. Trees stand a little taller and seem a little greener. Mountains jut skyward with a bit of Majest. You're going to want to see for yourself!

Day 1

Jet away to the "Emerald City" of Seattle, an enterprising metropolis filled with iconic sites, surrounded by mountains, water, and evergreen forests. It's a city known for high-tech brains, great coffee, and friendly locals.


Day 2

THE BOEING COMPANY: Explore interactive exhibits and design your own plane while learning what the future has in store for the jet industry at the Future of Aviation Center. Then, see how commericial jets are made at the Assembly Plant.

SPACE NEEDLE: Soar to the top of Seattle's most iconic landmark! From the 520-feet-high observation deck, you'll get a 360-degree view of the city skyline and see the outline of the Cascade Mountains.

CHIHULY GARDEN & GLASS: Wander through this wonderland of colorful hand-blown glass sculpture mixed with beautiful gardens created by University of Wisconsin grad Dale Chihuly.


Day 3

EAT SEATTLE TOURS/PIKE PLACE MARKET: A local chef takes you on a journey through the Pacific Northwest by tasting Seattle's best artisan vendors in the famous market. Uncover hidden gems and interact with local vendors while indulging in delicious treats from carefully selected stops.

ARGOSY HARBOR CRUISE: Enjoy all of the beauty and history Seattle has to offer during this 1-hour narrated cruise. From the skyline to the shipping port, there's a view everyone will enjoy.

WING LUKE MUSEUM OF THE ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN EXPERIENCE: Explore Seattle in a new way through eye-opening exhibits and a guided tour of what life was like for early Asian Pacific immigrants.


Day 4

Say goodbye to Seattle for now as you travel south to Portland for a short stay.

MOUNT ST. HELEN'S VISITOR CENTER AT SILVER LAKE: Interactive and theater exhibits provide an eye-opening look at life before and after the mountain erupted that fateful day in May 1980.

HOP ON/HOP OFF SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF PORTLAND: Enjoy a narrated tour throughout the "City of Roses" with stops at all of the popular city spots. The afternoon is yours to explore.


Day 5

COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE: A local step-on guide entertains while you travel on the Columbia River Scenic Highway, the first scenic highway in the country. Bring your camera for a couple of picturesque stops before visiting two breathtaking waterfalls, including Multnomah Falls, the most photographed spot in all of Oregon!

BONNEVILLE FISH HATCHERY: Learn about the salmon, trout, and sturgeon that are native to the Columbia River.

HOOD RIVER VALLEY: Enjoy a scenic ride down country highways through the Hood River Valley, stopping at two local wineries, eating lunch, and sipping locally made wines along the way. After, make a stop at a lavendar farm. The smell is heenly.

Day 6

The time has come to head back to the Midwest with memories of all the wonders the Pacific Northwest offers!

DEPOSIT: $100 per person at time of reservation; final payment due May 19, 2020. Once payments have been received, stringent cancellation penalties apply.


ACCOMMODATIONS: The Maxwell Hotel, Seattle, WA (3 nights); Hotel Rose, Portland, OR (2 nights)


TOUR INCLUSIONS: Professional tour director, roundtrip motorcoach transportation/airport/hotel/airport, roundtrip air, accommodations, luggage handling at hotel, admissions, and 7 meals, including 5 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 1 dinner.


TRAVEL INSURANCE: Optional, but highly recommended.


ACTIVITY LEVEL 3 / HEAVY WALKING: Physical stamina required. Stair climbing, longer periods of walking and/or standing may be involved, along with higher elevations and longer days. Participants must be able to keep up with group.
