Jet away to San Antonio for a Texas-sized kick-off to Christmas! The city is famous for its holiday traditions, including millions of sparkling lights, flavors for the most discerning palate, and a hospitality that welcomes visitors from far and wide.
Day 1
SAN ANTONIO RIVERWALK: Settle into The Drury Inn, your home away from home, located right on the San Antonio Riverwalk and close to restaurants and shops. Don't forget to enjoy the hotel's evening "Kickback" for snacks and drinks.
Day 2
SAN ANTONIO CITY TOUR: Today, a local step-on guide helps you understand the rich, multi-cultural history of this fascinating city. Hint: there's more to it than the Alamo!
THE ALAMO: History comes alive in an IMAX presentation of the 13-day battle of the Texas Revolution that involved James Bowie and Davey Crockett. After the movie, tour this historical site.
MISSION SAN JOSE: Founded in 1720, the mission is the largest in Texas and features ruins, a church, and granary. You'll marvel at the Rose Window, sculpted in 1775 in the church sacristy. It is one of the finest examples of baroque architecture in North America.
SAN ANTONIO RIVER CRUISE: This narrated float down the famed canal sets the mood for your whole stay, a truly magical voyage. After, you'll have free time to explore the River Walk, known as "The American Venice," all decked out for the holiday! In addition to millions of decorative lights and abundant restaurants, you'll find a variety of stores where you can get a little Christmas shopping done!
Day 3
NEW - AUSTIN, TX: Enjoy a day of adventure in the Texas State Capital, Austin, TX! A local step on guide will provide a city tour of "The Live Music Capital of the World."
B, DDay 4
SAN ANTONIO YOUR WAY HOP ON/HOP OFF: Spend the day touring the city like a local with hop on/hop off tickets that allow you to visit as many of the 18 stops throughout the city as you wish.
BDay 5
Wave goodbye to San Antonio's Christmas traditions and get ready to begin your own traditions at home.

DEPOSIT: $100 per person due at time of reservation; final payment due October 3, 2023. Once payments have been received, stringent cancellation penalties apply.

TOUR INCLUSIONS: Professional tour director, roundtrip motorcoach transportation airport/hotel/airport transfers, roundtrip air, accommodations, luggage handling at hotel, admissions, and 5 meals, including 4 breakfasts and 1 dinner.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Optional, but highly recommended.
ACTIVITY LEVEL 3 / HEAVY WALKING: Physical stamina required. Stair climbing, longer periods of walking and/or standing may be involved, along with higher elevations and longer days. Participants must be able to keep up with group.
