Day 1
Sit back and relax this morning as the motorcoach travels through the beautiful Midwest states before stopping for a good night of rest in Youngstown, OH.
Day 2
Travel continues early this morning, reaching our nation's capital mid-afternoon.
WASHINGTON DC MEMORIALS: Tour the city's most notable memorials honoring those who have helped shape this great nation. Weather/traffic permitting, you'll see Korean War, Vietnam War, World War II, Lincoln, and Washington Memorials.
Day 3
WASHINGTON DC CITY TOUR: This morning, a local step-on guide provides a fact-packed tour to help you understand the history, culture, and inner-workings of this magnificent city.
FORD'S THEATRE: Visit the historic site where President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated. Take time to learn about his life during his presidency and explore the many artifacts on-site.
ILLUMINATIONS TOUR: Bring your camera for dramatic and breathtaking views of the memorials illuminated underneath the stars.
Day 4
Spend the day on your own in DC! We will get you to the Smithsonian-the world's largest museum complex-and you choose your adventure from there. Catch a glimpse of the flag that inspired the national anthem, gowns of our first ladies, or the Wright Brothers' 1903 Flyer. The choices are endless!
B, DDay 5
ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY: Pay respects to the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country. Be amazed at the precision of the soldiers during the Changing of the Guard, and remember to take a moment at the eternal flame honoring President Kennedy.
UNITED STATES HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL MUSEUM: Take a self-guided tour of the museum and encounter historical film footage, photographs, and artifacts from The Holocaust.
UNITED STATES BOTANIC GARDEN: Steeped in history, this living plant museum informs visitors about the importance, and often irreplaceable value, of plants to people and Earth’s ecosystems.
Day 6
GETTYSBURG: A step-on guide joins us in Gettysburg and takes us on a tour of the area. You'll learn of the battles that took place here, see the cannon and monuments, and learn more about the important role this place played in the Civil War.
The time has come to say goodbye to the East Coast and voyage back to Youngstown for the evening.
Day 7
As the motorcoach travels home, share your favorite memory of our nation's capital with your fellow patriots.

TOUR INCLUSIONS: Professional tour director, motorcoach transportation, accommodations, luggage handling, admissions, and 10 meals, including 6 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 3 dinners.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Optional, but highly recommended.
ACTIVITY LEVEL 3 / HEAVY WALKING: Physical stamina required. Stair climbing, longer periods of walking and/or standing may be involved, along with higher elevations and longer days. Participants must be able to keep up with group.
