Day 1
Welcome to Historic Boston!
Arrive at Boston Logan International Airport, board your luxury motorcoach, and transfer to Faneuil Hall Marketplace-an inviting mix of food halls, cafés, and shops set against the backdrop of Boston's lively waterfront, followed by a planned welcome dinner together. Afterward, travel west and check into the welcoming Courtyard by Marriott Amherst/Hadley for the evening
Day 2
Scott Farm Orchard, Manchester & Hildene
After breakfast, check out and begin your day at Scott Farm Apple Orchard, known for its historic charm and scenic hillside setting. Enjoy a fun group tasting experience as you sample heirloom varieties and learn about the orchard's deep-rooted traditions. Continue to the charming village of Manchester, VT, where inviting shops and cafés make it a perfect stop for lunch on your own. This afternoon, visit Hildene, the beautifully preserved home of Robert Todd Lincoln. Explore the elegant estate, its peaceful gardens, and sweeping mountain views as you learn about the Lincoln family legacy. Later, travel north through the Green Mountains of Vermont, enjoying picturesque scenery along the way, and check into the DoubleTree by Hilton South Burlington for a relaxing two-night stay. Enjoy a planned dinner together this evening.
Day 3
Maple Sugarhouse, Lake Cruise, von Trapp Family Lodge History Talk & Stowe
Enjoy breakfast, and set off with your local Tour Guide for a fun day of Vermont exploration. Begin with a visit to Palmer's Maple Sugarhouse, where you'll discover how this local "liquid gold" is made and enjoy tastings fresh from the source. Mid-day, enjoy a scenic lunch cruise aboard the Spirit of Ethan Allen, offering beautiful views of Lake Champlain and the surrounding mountain landscapes. This afternoon, 'the hills come alive' as we travel to Stowe to visit the famous von Trapp Family Lodge for a History Talk to learn about the family who inspired The Sound of Music. Finish the day with free time in Stowe Village, known for its galleries, boutiques, and mountain charm. Dinner is on your own this evening.
Day 4
Scenic Rail, Loon Mountain & the Kancamagus Highway
After breakfast, check out and depart for the majestic White Mountains of New Hampshire. In Lincoln, board the Granite State Railroad for a relaxed scenic train ride through forested valleys and mountain views. Enjoy lunch on your own before taking a scenic gondola ride to the top of Loon Mountain, offering wide-open views of the surrounding peaks. This afternoon, travel along the famed Kancamagus Highway, known for its beautiful overlooks and photo-worthy vistas-perfect for a picture stop or two. Check into the Cambria Hotel North Conway for the evening and enjoy a delicious dinner together tonight.
Day 5
Lake Winnipesaukee Cruise & Moulton Farm
After breakfast, check out and continue into the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Enjoy a scenic cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, where mountain ridgelines and shoreline cottages create a perfect New England scene. Then visit Moulton Farm for a fun fall experience, complete with a hayride and warm apple cider donuts. This afternoon, travel into coastal Maine and check into the Hampton Inn Freeport for a two-night stay. Enjoy a planned dinner together this evening.
Day 6
Coastal Maine touring, Boothbay Harbor & Coastal Cruising
After breakfast, meet your local Tour Guide and set off for a day of coastal Maine touring. Travel to the charming waterfront village of Boothbay Harbor, known for its scenic marina, walkable streets, and classic Maine coastal charm. Enjoy lunch on your own among the harbor's inviting cafés and restaurants. This afternoon, embark on a scenic coastal cruise, taking in views of picturesque lighthouses, rocky shorelines, and the natural beauty of Maine's seacoast. Keep your eyes open for local marine life as you glide across the harbor. This evening, gather for a delicious traditional lobster dinner, a true highlight of any Maine visit.
Day 7
Old Port, Kennebunkport, York & Homeward Bound
After breakfast, check out and travel through some of Maine's most beloved seaside towns. Begin in Portland's Old Port, with its cobblestone streets and lively waterfront atmosphere, before continuing to Kennebunkport for a drive past Walker's Point, the Bush family's summer home. Then continue to Ogunquit and York, two charming coastal towns known for their scenic beaches and village appeal. Make a picture stop at Cape Neddick "Nubble" Lighthouse before returning to Boston Logan International Airport for your homeward journey.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Courtyard by Marriott Amherst/Hadley, Hadley, MA (1 night); DoubleTree by Hilton, South Burlington, VT (2 nights); Cambria Hotel, North Conway, NH (1 night); Hampton Inn, Freeport, ME (2 nights).
TOUR INCLUSIONS: Professional tour director, roundtrip motorcoach transportation/airport/hotel/airport, roundtrip air, accommodations, luggage handling at hotels, admissions, and 12 meals, including 6 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 5 dinners.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Optional, but highly recommended.
ACTIVITY LEVEL 3 / HEAVY WALKING: Physical stamina required. Stair climbing, longer periods of walking and/or standing may be involved, along with higher elevations and longer days. Participants must be able to keep up with group.
