Day 1
Begin the journey to Pennsylvania's Amish Country, traveling through the Indiana and Ohio. Tonight is spent near the Pennsylvania border in Youngstown, OH.
Day 2
This morning, continue the trek to Lancaster County, home to America's oldest Amish settlement.
KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE: Discover over 40 unique shops offering everything from locally made quilts and hand-poured candles to james, relishes, and farm-fresh cheeses. Enjoy plent of hands-on activities, including a self-guided tasting tour in the Jam & Relish Kitchen!
AMISH-STYLE FAMILY DINNER: After settling into the hotel, savour a delicious Amish family-style dinner - a true taste of Pennsylvania Dutch hospitality!
Day 3
MENNONITE LIFE VISITOR'S CENTER AND MUSEUM: Gain insight into the life and beliefs of the Amish and Mennonites.
BIRD-IN-HAND FARMER'S MARKET: This family-owned and operated market features approximately 30 local vendors offering a wide variety of homemade baked goods, spices, buk foods, hand-made quilts, leather goods, and more!
AMISH EXPERIENCE AT PLAIN & FANCY FARM: Take the Amish V.I.P. Tour at Plain & Fancy Farm, which includes visits to three Amish properties: a dairy farm, Q & A in an amish home, and Stoltzfus Broom. A step-on guide joins us along the way to share their knowledge of the area.
Day 4
PRESIDENT BUCHANAN'S WHEATLAND: Visit the historic house museum of the 15th president of the United States, James Buchanan, the only president from Pennsylvania!
AMISH BUGGY RIDE: Travel like the Amish do with a horse and buggy ride through the countryside with an Amish or Mennonite driver at the reigns.
DUTCH APPLE DINNER THEATRE: Enjoy dinner and a show at Lancaster's top destination for live entertainement. After a wonderful dinner, see the man, hear the music, and relive the life of a legend with "Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story."
Day 5
AMISH FARM & HOUSE: Explore the 15-acre farm and learn about the unique culture of Lancaster County's Old Order Amish. Guides explain the history, customs, clothing, and culture as you visit the various rooms of the home. See a variety of farm animals and visit the one-room school house and historic 1805 farmhouse, once home to a real Amish family on the property.
LANCASTER CENTRAL MARKET: Make one last shopping stop before starting the journey home.
Overnight in Youngstown, OH.
Day 6
Say farewell to your Amish adventure, carrying with you the memories of Lancaster County's peaceful landscapes, rich culture, and heartfelt hospitality.

TOUR INCLUSIONS: Professional tour director, motorcoach transportation, accommodations, luggage handling, admissions, and 9 meals, including 5 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and 3 dinners.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: Optional, but highly recommended.
ACTIVITY LEVEL 3 / HEAVY WALKING: Physical stamina required. Stair climbing, longer periods of walking and/or standing may be involved, along with higher elevations and longer days. Participants must be able to keep up with group.
