Day 1
Board the motorcoach and greet fellow passengers as the excursion to the southern belle city of Savannah begins. Pass through Illinois, briefly entering Kentucky, before reaching our overnight destination of Clarksville, TN.
Day 2
ATLANTA TROLLEY TOUR: Glide through the vibrant streets of Atlanta as the Peachtree Trolley Company's knowledgeable guides share captivating stories and insights about the city's past and present, blending history, culture, and fun.
BDay 3
ROAD TO TARA MUSEUM: Enjoy exhibits featuring items from the 1939 movie premiere of "Gone with the Wind" in Atlanta, personal items belonging to author Margaret Mitchell, rotating poster gallery, original costume pieces, and international book collection.
STATELY OAKS PLANTATION: Costumed tour guides lead you through this 1839 Greek Revival style home in the land of "Gone with the Wind," revealing stories and traditions of the era. Explore the other buildings on the property, including Juddy's Country Store, a one-room schoolhouse, a cookhouse, and much more.
Day 4
OLD TOWN TROLLEY: First, climb aboard a private, narrated tour that shares the history, sights, Victorian and Colonial districts, landmarks, architecture, and legacy of Georgia's First City. Then use the Hop On/Hop Off Pass to explore more of Savannah at your leisure.
BDay 5
TYBEE ISLAND LIGHT STATION & MUSEUM: Ordered by General James Oglethorpe in 1732, the light station has been guiding mariner's safe entrance into the Savannah River for over 270 years. Enter the resorted head keepers home, explore the museum with history of Tybee Island, and climb the lighthouse if you choose.
SUNSET DOLPHIN TOUR: Experience the thrill of encountering dolphin in their natural habitat while taking in breathtaking views of Tybee’s serene coastal waters. From historic lighthouses, to majestic Fort Pulaski, to dolphins playing next to the boat, this tour offers something for everyone!
Day 6
OLD FORT JACKSON: Named after Revolutionary War officer and Georgia Governor, James Jackson, this brickwork fort was a prominent headquarters during the Civil War. Learn what life was like here from a costumed soldier and watch a live cannon firing demonstration.
CARRIAGE TOURS OF SAVANNAH: Step back in time with and explore the rich tapestry of Savannah,from its colonial founding to its current standing as "The Most Beautiful City in North America." Stroll along lovely tree-lined streets and admire restored homes and buildings, some dating back to the 1700s.
Day 7
Wave good-bye to Southern belle city of Savannah as journey turns to northern direction towards overnight location of Berea, Kentucky.
BDay 8
Reminisce of days spent surrounded by the charm and elegance of the South with fellow passengers as our carriage nears your city of origin.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Optional, but highly recommended.
ACTIVITY LEVEL 3 / HEAVY WALKING: Physical stamina required. Stair climbing, longer periods of walking and/or standing may be involved, along with higher elevations and longer days. Participants must be able to keep up with group.
